Maternity grant

I picked up my maternity package from the post office yesterday! Yay!
A little explanation for non-Finnish viewers: Finnish mothers-to-be are entitled to a maternity care package, filled with all sorts of useful things the baby needs in its first months. Colours tend to be neutral, since they need to fit both baby boys and baby girls.
This year the package includes (at least): 14 different kinds of onesies (with/without sleeves/legs, sizes 60-70cm), 1 warm jumpsuit, 1 set of t-shirt+pants, 4 hats, 2 pairs of socks, 1 pair of mittens, 7 cloth diapers, 1 washable nappy set, 1 bath towel, set of sheets, blanket, sleeping bag, warm winteroverall, outdoor booties and mittens, a bib, a matress, waterproof cover for the matress, toy rattle, toothbrush, hairbrush, nail clippers, bath thermometer, skin creams, several guidebooks on childcare, nutrition, breastfeeding etc, diapers and even a pack of condoms. The box in which everything came in can be used as a first bed.
Did I mention I get all this for FREE? Gosh I love the Finnish health care system.
